During the week of Sept. 24-30, a total of 269 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 74 cases of simple assault and eight cases of aggravated assault, in addition to eight cases of criminal trespassing and 48 cases of larceny were reported.
