During the week of May 28–June 3, a total of 288 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 95 cases of simple assault and 11 cases of aggravated assault, in addition to three cases of criminal trespassing and 101 cases of larceny were reported.
