During the week of May 21–27, a total of 258 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 73 cases of simple assault and four cases of aggravated assault, in addition to three cases of criminal trespassing and 98 cases of larceny were reported.
