During the week of March 26–April 15, a total of 745 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 260 cases of simple assault and thirteen cases of aggravated assault, in addition to 17 cases of criminal trespassing and 242 cases of larceny were reported.
