During the week of July 30–August 5, a total of 219 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 61 cases of simple assault and two cases of aggravated assault, in addition to six cases of criminal trespassing and 90 cases of larceny were reported.
