During the week of July 23–29, a total of 275 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 76 cases of simple assault and five cases of aggravated assault, in addition to eight cases of criminal trespassing and 98 cases of larceny were reported.
