During the week of July 16–22, a total of 276 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 90 cases of simple assault and eight cases of aggravated assault, in addition to eight cases of criminal trespassing and 92 cases of larceny were reported.
