During the week of Jan. 22–28, a total of 234 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 61 cases of simple assault and five cases of aggravated assault, in addition to five cases of criminal trespassing and 84 cases of larceny were reported.
