During the week of April 30–May 6, a total of 316 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 98 cases of simple assault and eight cases of aggravated assault, in addition to seven cases of criminal trespassing and 106 cases of larceny were reported.
