During the weeks of Sept. 7–14, a total of 52 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included seven cases of simple battery, as well as five cases of identity fraud, five cases of criminal trespassing and 12 cases of larceny were reported.
