During the week of May 4–11, a total of 55 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included four cases of simple battery and one case of aggravated assault, as well as five cases of identity fraud, four cases of criminal trespassing and 10 cases of larceny were reported.
