During the week of June 15–29, a total of 129 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included 10 cases of simple battery and one case of aggravated assault, as well as 13 cases of identity fraud, four cases of criminal trespassing and 35 cases of larceny were reported.
