During the week of Dec. 29 – Jan. 5, a total of 74 crimes were tracked by The Augusta Press from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
Violent crimes included four cases of simple battery, as well as three cases of identity fraud, six cases of criminal trespass and 20 cases of larceny were reported.
