Collins Elementary secretary Tiffiny Robinson surrendered Wednesday afternoon on charges of having sex with a 15-year-old student at her school.

Warrants accuse the 28-year-old woman of having sex with a 15-year-old student on New Year’s Day at a residence on Rasha Drive in Augusta. In addition, the arrest warrant says that on Saturday night, two days before Valentine’s Day, Robinson picked up the boy from home and “carried him to the Marriott Hotel wherein she booked a room and once inside of the room did engage in sexual intercourse” with the boy.

Robinson is being held without bond on charges of sexual assault and enticing a child for indecent purposes. The case was investigated by the Richmond County School’s Public Safety Department.

Robinson has a previous arrest in her past, a 2004 shoplifting conviction.

Odd she doesn’t get bail, but a certain white commissioner charged with molesting his adopted daughter does. If someone can explain to me how this is fair, I’d love to hear it.

Strange to me how race gets brought into this when she was so blatantly wrong to do what she has, she is the teacher! She is in a position of authority over this kid and now she gets made an example of, so you say it has something to do with race? Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. Race is not the issue, right and wrong is.
