The FBI and Aiken County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a Warrenville man for alleged child sex crimes.
Robert Patnoude, 26, of Warrenville, was arrested by sheriff’s investigators Wednesday and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor and lewd act upon a minor.
The Jail Report has learned that the FBI has confiscated computers allegedly used by Patnoude, and possible federal charges could follow if agents find evidence of criminal acts.
A judge heard the allegations today and denied bond for the suspect, who remains in the Aiken County Jail.
