Michelle Stevens

A North Augusta mom has become the latest in a string of zero-tolerance arrests in Richmond County for leaving children unattended. Michelle Stevens, 33, is accused of shopping at an Augusta Target store Saturday night for 15 minutes while three of her four children (ages 7, 5, and 3) were left in her vehicle. When she returned with a baby in her arms, Stevens was arrested for three counts of deprivation of a minor. She told deputies she left the AC running and her oldest child had locked the door.
