Lonnie Moore

Augusta teen Lonnie Moore Jr. went from “visitor” to “inmate” at the Richmond County Jail on Saturday after a deputy caught him slipping marijuana under a counter during visitation, authorities said.
The 19 year old gave himself away when he put the drugs under a counter and then moved seats to continue his visit with half-brother Gregory Humphrey.
Confronted with a plastic bag holding 10 grams of marijuana and another with 30 grams of tobacco, Moore admitted bringing the contraband and said Humphrey had called him and asked him to deliver it there. The teen said Humphrey was going to retrieve the drugs later.
Moore was charged with crossing guard lines with prohibited substances. Humphrey is awaiting trial on multiple armed robberies.
