Richmond County cops hid inside the TGI Friday’s this morning when a tipster told them ex-employee Donald Peet would be breaking into the Washington Road eatery. Sure enough, Peet entered the business about 7:45 a.m. and took cash from the business office, according to sheriff’s Capt. Scott Peebles. When officers surprised the 48-year-old suspect, Peet fought deputies and bit one of the officers in the hand. Both Peet and the officer received superficial injuries. Peet, shown here in an previous mugshot, is being booked into the jail right now on burglary and obstruction charges.
