Bootie Green
Here we go again. Yet another Augusta woman has been arrested for leaving children unattended. This time, 29-year-old Bootie Green allegedly left a 7-month-old baby alone with a 4-year-old boy and 10-year-old boy Saturday evening while she ran inside the Walmart on Deans Bridge Road. Someone flagged down a deputy about the unattended children, and Green returned to the car about 15 minutes later. She was rolling a cart with two 30-packs of Bud Light and a T-shirt, telling the deputy “she had just run in for a minute,” a report states. The officer charged her with three counts of deprivation of a minor and booked her into the Richmond County Jail. The children were turned over to a DFACS worker.
